White Rock has the ability to make you feel like your on vacation right here in your own backyard. A 30 minute drive from downtown Surrey, White Rock is super close yet worlds away. Sunshine and smiles, a long walk on a long pier, funky shops and funkier restaurants make White Rock a must-do on any foodie’s restaurant bucket list. Fish ‘n chips, ice cream cones, and bubble tea are some of the most popular choices to grab off the Main Street and munch on while strolling the promenade, but you’ll find plenty of patios to sit and soak up the sun as well.
To cap off an excellent lunch at Mashawee Lebanese Grill Craig and I waddled next door to award-winning Swiss chocolatier Chez Christophe holding our distended bellies and promising each other only a wafer-thin sliver of dessert that hopefully wouldn’t make us explode a la Monty Python’s gluttonous Mr. Creosote.
